Invest uMkhanyakude is the official investment promotion platform for uMkhanyakude District. Established through a partnership between the uMkhanyakude District Municipality and the Umhlosinga Development Agency (UMDA), the platform serves as the district's dedicated investment facilitation office, providing investors with a single point of entry to access opportunities, strategic information and government support.
Our purpose is simple: to attract investment, facilitate partnerships and accelerate economic development across uMkhanyakude District. We work closely with government, investors, development finance institutions and the private sector to unlock catalytic projects that create jobs, stimulate economic growth and improve the quality of life for our communities.

A district of 738,437 people across four municipalities
uMkhanyakude covers 12,818 square kilometres of northern KwaZulu-Natal, from Mtubatuba in the south to the Mozambican border in the north. Invest uMkhanyakude is the single point of entry for investors into all four local municipalities.
